Bonnie Brittain, MTA, MMT, NMT
Director, Music Therapist
Bonnie has been an accredited music therapist (MTA) since 2010. Bonnie has always had a love for music, fostered by growing up in a musical household. She discovered her interest in music therapy during her undergraduate studies at Wilfrid Laurier University. This exciting discovery allowed the use and sharing of music to work with people and help them reach goals. She has had a variety of work experiences including paediatric hospital, long-term care, children and adults with developmental disabilities, adult mental health and addiction and special education classes and camps. Bonnie also enjoys musical interests outside of music therapy including playing in several chamber music ensembles and at church.

Charlotte McCuaig, MTA, NMT
Classically trained on the Alto Saxophone, Charlotte understood the effect music can have from a young age. Following her passion for music and working with people, Charlotte received a Bachelor of Music Therapy from Wilfrid Laurier University in 2016. Since graduation, Charlotte has been a certified Music Therapist and certified Neurologic Music Therapist working in the Hamilton and the surrounding area. Focusing in Long Term Care, Charlotte has a wide range of experience working with clients experiencing various needs such as Alzheimer’s Disease, Parkinson’s, and Aphasia. Outside of music therapy, Charlotte enjoys singing in her community choir, exercising, and doing puzzles.
Krystina MacPherson, MT-BC
Krystina is a graduate of Wilfrid Laurier’s Bachelor of Music Therapy Program. She has clinical experience working individually with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder, behavioural needs, visual impairments and global developmental delays. Additionally, she also has clinical experience running social groups with children and adults. Her professional goal is to increase awareness about the advantages of music therapy and to help individuals thrive along their life journey.
